I just purchased this CD & I've ordered their other releases as a result. I'm a woman of 52, but I still enjoy great music. Highly recommend their music if you like to rock, along with HURT that I'm listening to as I write this review.
Great band, great album; I just love every single song on this albumI Want You is my absolute favorite; the rhythm is intoxicating
I can't recall the last time I bought a disc and listened to it exclusively for days. I haven't been so enthusiastic about a band since high school (about half a life time ago). Did I mention that I like it. This is truly one of the best "albums" to come out in a long, long, time. Don't you remember the days before singles when the flow of an album told a story or gave you a feeling., that's what you get in listening to KOL "only by the night". The lyrics are well thought out and intelligent. A must have for any real music enthusiast.
I would highly recommend this album to anybody. You have some CDS where it seems to be the only great track, is the one, that is released on the radio. On this CD every track is great and delivers a different flavor and mood. I could listen to this CD everyday.
I bought this because a favorite alternative radio DJ of mine loves this CD so it might be for you, but I hated it. I've tried to listen to this CD multiple times and not once have I been able to sit through it. Not only do the songs sound the same, but the lyrics are terrible accompanied by a singer no one can understand. I'm usually very open minded about new bands, but in this case I drew the line at trying to get through the album five or six times. Other than "Sex on Fire," which is the song I bought the CD for, it's really nothing special.
